Dit komt onder andere door de draaiknop waarmee de gewenste steek gekozen kan worden en de automatische steeklengte en steekbreedte. Rondom de naald zit ook nog een speciale beveiliging, die voorkomt dat je niet te dicht bij de naald komt met je vingers. Zo is deze machine ook te gebruiken door kinderen. De machine heeft 14 steken, waardoor je alle basissteken hebt.
